A receipt's legal validity depends on its content, not its origin. A receipt must include: seller details (name, address, GSTIN if registered), buyer name, date, item description, amount, and payment method. This tool generates receipts meeting these requirements. For GST-registered businesses, use a GST Invoice instead of a plain receipt.
